At Lancaster Insurance, we want to support the young people in our industry who are striving to be a part of the classic car world - whether that's working in the industry or simply enjoying classic vehicles as a hobby.

It's so important to continue to inspire future generations to get involved and keep this fantastic industry alive for years to come, which is why from now until March 2023, we'll be celebrating and sharing the stories of six 'Bright Young Sparks' - as nominated by you!

We’re looking for young people aged 16-25 who:

  • Are aspiring to work in classic car maintenance or restoration
  • Spend their weekends tinkering with cars in the garage
  • Are actively involved in a classic car club
  • Create online or social content all about classic cars
  • Read all the classic car magazines
  • Or, just simply love classic cars!
The six finalists will also be in with a chance of winning a 'Classic Car Industry Taster’ trip, including work experience with classic car mechanics, specialists and celebrities. They will also all receive £250 to spend on their hobby – whether that’s on tools or other equipment.

You can nominate here: https://www.lancasterinsurance.co.uk/competitions/bright-young-sparks/

Does it have to be 16-25 year olds? How about a grumpy middle aged bloke that's good at his current job, but doesn't massively enjoy it, and also meets pretty much all of your requirements above? I'm also insured with you, so surely I can bribe you again to work some magic behind the scenes? :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

On a serious note, I wish all the new classic enthusiasts all the best in their new jobs. Such a fantastic industry to be involved in.
