I don't understand something above guys? Has Ivan spoken to the DVLA before thinking he needs a Build Sheet? The fact that the DVLA gave the car a "C" prefix #plate in 1989 when imported, shows that they knew then the car was a 1986 and presumably still do? "C" prefix is 9/85 -8/86?
Having said the above, I have just checked what it says about my old '85 on the DVLA "Is it taxed/Motd? online enquiry. Mine was registered with a correct age related "B" prefix plate on importation in 8/1988. Enquiring now it says that the year of manufacture was 1988 which is wrong (DVLA Cock-Up?)
Is C755 RKA now on a private/different # plate? DVLA enquiry for it as above, says # plate not recognised?
