The description suggests the leather interior was likely original but again, from the Noland Adam TG leather was only available in 1963 in Saddle

If cars could talk...

Is there any images of the trim & VIN tags under the dash or have I missed them?

So.......are we all convinced 100% this is the arguably dodgy/'misrepresented '63 coupe ? - if so who's putting their hands- up to let the the new owner know?
I think we'd have to find out who they were first - maybe they'll join the club?

I'm still waiting for you boys to tell me that mine' s dodgy 😬

A friends “64” was loved and cherished by him for years, then he found out it was actually a 63. Probably done when the 63 was a year old and the new 64 had a one piece rear window. The split was removed, new one piece rear screen installed hey presto your in the money.
It’s been put back to a SWC now ( many years ago) so he’s in the money.
By all accounts it was quite a common conversion.

Similar thing to earlier chrome bumper Vettes with frontal accident damage being replaceed with front end panels from a mid/late 70's Vette. Done back in the day it was quite a regular thing to modernise your early C3 that way.........depending on your taste the panels could have been replaced with Mako Shark knock-offs?

Hard to imagine now that after 1974 for quite a few years, chrome bumper vets were considered ‘old hat’ in the US as everyone wanted the new plastic front/rear end. Bit different here in the UK, but I remember plastic bumper models selling easier than chrome bumper ones.
