Hi guys,
Is anyone knows a good professional to re gluing targa tops, because my 3rd attempt is also failed, even if I used strong windscreen adhesive which was lasted long just for couple of days😐

What needs glueing? Is it a solid body colour roof or a transparent one? Cracked?/Roof panel detaching from frame?

Hi Folks,
It is a transparent targa top, at the front corner, the aluminium frame separated from the roof panel, my last try was the 3M 08603 auto glass urethane but still no luck. Maybe I should try structural adhesive as you suggested 😕

Is yours one of the earlier '84/'85 cars? I had exactly the same on my '85 many years ago. I glued it which worked, but can't remember with what. The later cars had some chassis stiffener items fitted which improved structural rigidity (less stress on the roof panel?)

Never had this problem with any of the C4’s we had, but that was a good many years ago when they weren’t 20+ years old.
It does seem to be a fairly common problem now as the last of these cars are approaching 30 years old and the earliest 42 years old. ( march 83)
That old glue has lasted pretty well considering the weather conditions these cars were/are out in. At least it is fixable with a little patience and care.
