I am selling my spare/original set of KW V3 adjustable dampers, they fit all C5 and C6 models and retain the leaf springs. New these retail at £1849 + postage, I am asking £750 including tools, instructions, original box and postage within the UK. These KW V3 are double adjustable for compression and rebound, with the factory suggested settings giving a slightly firmer, more sporty ride than stock Z06 dampers, but with plenty of scope to make them softer, or firmer as preferred. They were designed in the US and are made in Germany. The ride quality on the road is a step up from the stock units fitted to our cars.
The set I am selling were fitted to my C6 for approximately 3 months only, whilst the factory kindly redesigned a new set, with adjusters to make them easier to get to. In terms of build and ride quality they are identical to the very latest specification, the only difference is that the lower (compression) adjustment is harder to get to on this set. If you plan on making adjustments weekly it would be a pain, more likely you will probably have a play, then fit and forget, in which case you have a fabulous quality, stainless steel damper set, in as-new condition, for less than half price. They can be serviced in the UK if that were ever needed.
Originally I was going to keep these as a spare set, but they're taking up space and tying up money I could do with spending on other areas of the car.
