AH! I think I've figured it out!!!

So my stereo is a Pioneer Carrozzeria AVIC-ZH9000 and as an extra, you can purchase 4 black wired metal antenna's to help with the Japanese GPS system (pictured below, now discontinued)

Would we agree these wires look VERY familiar with the plugs in the back of the stereo?

I know I have windscreen antenna's (but will have to check how many in the morning and hope I see 4) and it would explain why they group together and head behind the dashboard

The 4 black wires are clearly something to do with the aftermarket head unit possibly tv ariels so I would look to remove them the pac lead I wood convert to a euro male iso plug ( as most reasonable aftermarket headunits ie kenwood alpine Sony pioneer etc come with female iso) I have got a wiring guide I can send you of what each of the wires for the pac lead does once converted it will plug straight to headunit won't be able to send wiring diagram till new yr though

I've just gone out and checked, I do have 4 antenna's on the windscreen, each with the same gauge black wiring coming from them. So happy to say that is to do with them πŸ‘ worry over.
Now I can concentrate on the 16 wires that go in to the Pioneer plug.
The new stereo I've bought has 2x 8 wire plugs (male) as shown below

and they fit in to here

If you could send me the wiring guide, that would be a HUGE help β™₯️

A lot of the labels aren't there.
I'm definitely on to a winner I think... the Carrozzeria wires that are connected to my current unit are as follows:
Main Antenna (disconnected and ready to fit in new stereo).
GPS wire (no longer needed in new stereo).
AV INβ€’OUT (not connected to anything and not needed anyway).
Reverse Camera (never worked and getting a new one with the new stereo).
TV/GPS Window Antenna labelled 1 2 3 4 (no longer needed in new stereo).

That means I only have the main power plug for the stereo left, which consists of 16 wires.
Perfect, because the new stereo has 2x male ISO style plugs, 8 wires per plug = 16 wires πŸ‘
I just need to determine what wires do what from the PAC to the plug (which I'm hoping Custom exotics can provide), solder and shrink them to the new relevant wires.
Then I'll grab the fire extinguisher πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚

In my post of #21 I included a PDF and a URL showing what each wire of the PAC OEM-1 is for
Does the new radio include what each pin of the unit is for to match up with the PAC wiring pinout ?

The new stereo does have what each wire is allocated to do, so will just be a case of matching the pin out as you say.

If anyone needs any help, I managed to find the OEM-1 PAC function colours. They are as follows:

I'll keep you updated with my install, and hopefully all of this will help someone else out πŸ™‚
