C6 opportunity

Hi,
I’ve been talking to a guy who has a C6 which was registered in the UAE, it’s here now and has been for two years unregistered as a project. Most of the work to get it ready for being completed is done. The information I’ve seen says the car must be registered within 6 months, obviously this one doesn’t fit that. How big of a problem is this?

You will need the Nova form or at least the NOVA number to prove import duty paid otherwise DVLA will say no. No time scale to register.

This is what I need to establish with the owner. What paperwork exactly this car has. I assume there’s no V5 because that’s issued during the registration process. So il need,
The NOVA, title and current MOT.

Be very careful with an unregistered dubai car
So many people buy these thinking its easy to put them on the road and find serious issues that prevent them being roadworthy

Many of these (not all) are dodgy imports that have had a bad accedent repair done prior to shipping

That’s exactly what I’m concerned about. I walked away from a very similar situation with a Camaro, just bad vibes. This seems pretty genuine.
