C6 RCDLR replacement.

Can anybody recommend someone in the Sussex/Kent/Surrey area who can fit a RCDR to my Corvette and to reprogram it to the RCM using a GMTech2. I have tried IGS American (not taking on any new customers), CCM ( rang 6 times- no reply), Ian Allen (supposedly gone out of business). Currently I am using the car with the key fob in the glovebox slot. I have the correct RCDLR replacement and the program procedure

Are you sure the RCDLR is the problem ?

That remote controller also is what the TPMS use, do they report correctly ?
Will either of the 2 FOB the C6 came with work anywhere around the car ?

FYI, RCDLR location

It can just be the connector on the RCDLR has corroded or it's loose on the mainboar.d IGS American LTD fixed one of these the other day .Kingston upon Thames and he also has a FB page... He works on a lot of Vettes

Thanks all for your comments. Both the TPMS and the Metric/Imperial change on the gauges has stopped working as well as not livening up the starter button. I will try resetting the TPMS. Both fobs work around the car and have good batteries.

I took the RCDLR out to check the product code and there was no evidence of corrosion. I did speak to IGS American, not helpful, they are not taking on any new customers.

Reading on US links, a sign of RCDLR failure is when you use a fob and whilst doors and trunk open, one can hear a single click from the RCDLR ( from above the radio}, which is what i get.

Is it possible to open that module and look for any cracked solder joints and reflow them if need be
and then just plug wiring connector in and test to see if any better ?

Also check for any ground wire connecton points being loose ?
