C7 Corvette

Only posting this in general chat to give members an early 'heads up' as C7 GS's (let alone C7's) rarely seem to come on the market).
David, the owner of Fairmont Classic Cars, Sheffield has historically hosted several open evenings for Essex CCCUK members and sent me a WhatsApp message re. this C7 that had just come-in to stock for resale.
So Grand Sport automatic with 35k miles. Price will be (a rather ''steep'?) £60K.......but how many GS's ever seem to come-up for sale. I have nothing to do with Fairmont Classics and any interested members should make their own enquiries and perhaps obtain a Carfax report accordingly.SAVE_20251102_172727.jpgSAVE_20251102_172634.jpg

Anyone seriously interested buyer will simply go on to the government DVLA website, enter the registration number to find basic recorded details and results & mileages of recent annual MOT tests. Auto's seem to be the most popular transmissions here with buyers looking at late model Vettes.

Suspect that's a (2019) Ian Allan supplied UK spec car? Its got the UK/Euro mainland bigger door mirrors and the reg# "LJ" tells us it was registered by DVLA Wimbledon. One owner car too as registered 5/19 and last V5 issued 5/19? Would I pay £60k for a 35k miles car? No.

With you on that - I could really fancy a C7 Vette.......and might have considered a 7 speed manual (in preference to the carried-over auto from the C6) but prefer one of the 8 speed auto's, (so 2015 onwards) - but would balk at paying £40K+ that some people seem to be asking for what are effectively 10 and 11 year old cars.

A new 2014 UK spec manual C7 from Bauer Millett in Manchester, before any options, had a OTR list price of £61,520. Rob (Membership Secretary) still seems to have his early manual Euro spec C7 for sale/ Make him an offer he can't refuse? ;)
