C8 right rear end black reservoir

Does anyone know what the black reservoir on the right rear end of a 2022 corvette is for and how to look for a replacement part?

I spoke to James this morning, the ex Ian Allan top mechanic/technician. Without showing him the photo, he is saying that is the emissions "E VAP Cannister". Are we allowed to ask, why have you got the back end of your C8? Is it a US (LHD) or UK spec car? I'd be phoning Parts USA here in the UK, or looking at the RockAuto website.

Thats very useful thank you! I was looking at a car that needed rebuilding but have decided to keep looking as there was too much damage to repair.
