Here is a heads up on a great weekend of motorsport at Silverstone for anyone in the Northants / Beds / Bucks area or even further afield . I regularly attend these great Carnatter events throughout the race season and they represent great value . Open to all comers via Carnatter.com/events , it is a Facebook generated petrol heads community with no joining fees or subscriptions . Plus they are great friendly and welcoming bunch of guys .Tickets are only £10 per person at all events instead of the £20 normal ticket price and includes 10% discount in the Coffee Box and Pit Stop Cafe . The is also reserved display parking in the Brooklands car park and private reserved use of the Brooklands Hospitality Suite to watch the racing or from the British Racing Drivers Club grandstand and it is not uncommon to have 150 cars of all types and marques turn up at these events . What`s not to like for a tenner ?
This weekends programme comprises ; Historic Touring Cars 1969 - 1990 , Stirling Moss Trophy 1950`s Sports cars , 1962 - 1966 Sports Cars , RAC Woodcote Trophy , RAC Pall Mall Cup Pre 1966 GT & Touring Cars plus Super Driver exclusive parades and display .
There a bound to Mustangs , Cobra`s and maybe the odd Corvette in action along with Jaguar D Types , Aston Martin`s and I believe possibly a Maserati `Bird Cage`. Free and easy access to all pit garages and paddock areas too . I will be going on Sunday in the C3 for sure .
