I found the best overall shocks for my C5 for street and different types of racing is the Penske race shocks
They are highly adjustable and also have more adjustment via a Nitrogen pressured tank system

For me, they are mounted upside-down for less unsprung weight and bump stops on bottom

Tanks mounted in engine bay and rears are in the storage trays
