Corvette engines (Worst to Best?)

I've had a L98 (C4), LS1 (C6) and LT1 (C7). Worth noting that UK/mainland Europe spec C7s don't run/go into 4 cylinder AFM mode when in Touring, Sport or Track settings (only in Eco setting).

I sometimes wonder about American 'expert' knowledge, which is a shame being as they have so,so many Vettes out there.
* Blueflame 6. Here in UK one is very unlikely to see a C1 with one of these engines - given a choice most will choose a later V8 powered car. The majority of 'so called' car experts wouldn't even understand the significance of an early 6 banger.
* 265/283/327 and very specifically 350 small block engines are the most serviceable GM engines ever. Guess that OEM type components on earlier engines could be an issue.......however inclusion of the Rochester mechanical fuel injection even in the USA has to be questionable. One can today could the numbers of specialists of these systems on the fingers on one hand. In the UK.......and there is no one!
* 396/427/454 engines. Yes, 396 and 427 engines have different combustion chambers and piston heights and are getting difficult to source certain parts for (unlike 454 based engines)........does fuel economy really come in to the equation? -even the best small block powered car is expensive to run. The old addage "hung for a sheep instead of a lamb".
* C4 and Optispark issues should be well know to anyone doing their research.
* C5 and C6 balancer issues likewise should be well known.
* C6 Z06 valve issues likewise
* C7 Z06 blower overheating issues have been well documented.
Being as C7's are now up to 12 years old what about part availability of early 'carry over' C6 auto transmissions - and perhaps reported early 8 speed auto transmission issues (other than 4 cylinder running)
