Corvette in “the Sweeney”

Saw a episode of the sweeney from 1975, the insurance man/fixer was driving a 1961 corvette. looked very nice amongst the mid 70’s cars on the UK roads. It could have been Pete Tuckers car, as he had the exact same car as his personal run around for a few years about that time.

I watched crocodile Dundee the other day, they have now cut three great bits out. 1) where micks told he’s chatting up a trans and “checks” . 2) where micks introduced to a trans and “checks”. 3) the “no this is a knife scene” you no longer see him slicing the muggers jacket to shreds.

As you say bring back the good old days .
