Just watching James Bond Live and let die, the corvorado has just shot JB’s car driver.

The corvorado was one of Dunham coaches showpiece’s for the black population of 1970’s super fly era NY, NJ .
All classics nowadays.

Great video. Always loved the eldorado especially the convertible. Dad had a few over the years. Top down you’ve got the wow factor. Big as an aircraft carrier and as thirsty. Those 500ci motors sucked it down.

The 76 convertible was the last of the breed, but the shape lived on in the coupe for 1977 & 78 Downsized for 1979 and no convertible, but the 79 coupe looked nice.

That cororado needs super fly headlights for sure. Dunham coach still sells them new.

Absolutely love those 1970’s land yachts. Driving along in them was like floating on air.

Back in the late 70's a buddy took me out in his well looked after early/mid 70's 460 cu in Lincoln Town Car. I mention "well looked after" because so often these kind of cars were not looked after properly and treated like an ordinary Ford or Chevy shoebox....i.e minimal/zero maintenance. That Town Car was smoother, quieter and better riding with less 'wallow' and tyre scrub than the early 70's Rolls Shadow we had in the family at that time....and that was maintained by RR themselves at School Lane Acton!

Sadly they have become dinosaurs today. I’m old enough and lucky enough to remember seeing and driving them virtually every day.

Nice, but most super flys didn’t have the spare wheel fenders or side skirts They ( wheel fenders)were out of fashion in the early/mid 70’s, and side skirts didn’t really exist.
Looks cool tho
