E5 or E10 fuel any preference and additive addition?

We regularly see reports in the press Jon about vehicle fires, often speculatively blaming electric vehicle batteries but in reality the majority of these fires will be with ICE powered vehicles.
A large and disproportional percentage seems to be large commercial articulated trucks - presumably where a diesel fuel line becomes ruptured/damaged and the vehicle structure or goods carried experience a 'wicking' effect making the fire almost as impossible to extinguish as a motive battery fire.
However the point I was going to get to (and relating to degradation of fuel lines of older petrol powered vehicles by Ethanol based fuel) was.......how long (once Ethanol content is increased even further) - when will we start to see unexplained vehicles fires caused by damaged fuel lines?

Due to my work in doing custom tuning of GM gas engined vehicles I have seen the damage Ethanol has long term
from ruined fuel pumps, clogged fuel filters and injectors, to the damage to how much leaner the AFR is due to Ethanol to increased engine knocks and misfires, along with less fuel mileage than straight gas

Worse is engine that have some type of boost as than the AFR is even leaner causing high amounts of knock and damage to valves and pistons

I enforce to my customers running high HP/Tq to pay the price as I do as my 1999 C5 I only have used non-Ethanol gas.

I have done testing of gas from different gas stations to find the greedy bums that sell gas to the stations have been using 10-15% Ethanol for years now as they get a kickback money from the feds as the more Ethanol they sell the more money the feds pay them to sell Ethanol

I could wonder even in the UK if the same crap goes on, and you're pumping higher amounts of Ethanol than you think
and can buy Ethanol tester real cheap and find out what the gas stations you use are really pumping into your older vehicles, tools, motorcycles, boats, etc
