EU to cancel 10% import duty

From the 4th July the EU will no longer charge the 10% import duty on US vehicles imported into the EU countries.
Not only will the importer save the 10% duty, but also the VAT payable on that 10%. Quite a nice saving.

I don’t suppose our country will follow suit. Shame.

GM UK spec' vehicles were supplied up to relatively recent times from GM Europe - is that no longer the case now?

It’s Where the vehicle was made, not who supplied it. A BMW made in North Carolina will be exempt. A Ferrari that’s been in California for 20 years will not be exempt.
