You have to hand it to Clive Sutton Ltd - they are often quick off the mark and not shy about optimistic pricing.

They have a ZR1 3LT coupe in yellow [and LHD] for sale at their St John's Wood premises for....£425, 000! [For our American friends, that is around $550,000 currently]

Whilst advertised as 1,064hp, several examples have been dyno tested at around this number - at the wheels! GM is being uncharacteristically shy!

A phenomenal car and possibly unique over here - it won't be coming to the UK officially apparently. Too much of a mark-up from the US price [around 100%]? It's academic to me at this price but let's see if it sells.

There is a certain 'history' applying to this company - relating to selling-on hi-end, expensive vehicles such as this..........

Back in the late 90’ my friend bought the first jeep Grand Cherokee 5.9 litre in the UK off them. Huge premium over the standard 5.2 version, but hey they found a mug ( my friend) to buy it. He was flush with cash after selling XFM to virgin so he wasn’t that bothered.

Here is another greedy SOB seller

While everyone waits for the X to drop,
a sucker just forked over $290,000 for a 2026 ZR1 with five miles on the odometer in a Bring a Trailer auction.
With its 5.5-liter LT7 twin-turbo engine, the latest ZR1 produces 1,064 horsepower and 824 lb-ft of torque.
Properly outfitted, it can zoom from 0 to 60 in 2.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 233mph.

The recent auction price for this Black over Jet Black 3LZ coupe represents a profit of nearly $70,000 for the seller, if he was able to pay the original sticker price of $220,745 which includes nearly $30,000 worth of options like the ZTK performance package, the ZR1 carbon-fiber aero kit, and front lift. Of course, the Bring a Trailer fees (which top out at $7,500, about half what they would be if figured at the usual 5 percent) will cut into that profit a little.

Per General Motors, reselling the car to a subsequent owner within 12 months of the original purchase date in October 2025 renders the vehicle warranty null and void for all future owners.

I personally think the warranty thing is very unfair. If a buyer is willing to lay out $220k in the hope of making a profit, what’s wrong with that? He’s gambling that he can with his own money. If a punter is willing to buy it, so be it. He’s had a result, GM Chevrolet has sold a vehicle, new buyers happy with his purchase. Everyone’s a winner.
Seems like GM doesn’t want anybody to make money on their product but them.
