Farewell Brigitte....

Brigitte Bardot died today. Those of you with long memories may remember the 'sex kitten' who made such an impact on French cinema and fuelled male fantasies back in the fifties and sixties - but did you know she once owned a '69?

An interesting image - its done the rounds before - some suggestions that Bardot was photoshopped or AI'd into the image.......look at the car closer and whilst a '68 or '69 there are some odd shadows. The wheeltrims stick out too far and the door mirror is non-period..........however one can't take anything away from Bardot at that time.

I would say A I `d . She looks so stilted and more like a wax effigy .

It makes you wonder how big a star she would have become if she hadn’t made Shalako. She was the front runner to play Tracy in On her majesty’s secret service but lost the part due to being in shalako starring Ex JB Sean Connery. A bit of spitefulness by old man broccoli . Although she didn’t like Hollywood or America, being a Bond girl would have elevated her to new heights.

Enlarge the colour image and you'll realise how poor the AI job really is........
There is so much A I crap out there these days and it`s driving me mad . I am even beginning to sympathise with Trump and his rants about fake news ! And that is well serious !!!😡.
There is a regular AI poster under the name of `History Past ` that routinely posts AI generated photos of steam locomotives purported to be the genuine article . The lengthy descriptive text is drivel beyond belief and totally erroneous with locations incorrect and the locomotives described all completely wrong . Many of them have been `doctored` from well known and revered photographers who`s work has been published in years past . Often there a people in the photos too that would be 7 or 8 feet tall if they were real . Each photo gets 100`s of `likes` from folks who have no idea and also lots of vitriolic comments from railway enthusiasts who know better . I have blocked it permanently as it`s the only way to deal with such crap .

Some of the FB posts are really weird.....for example there has been a whole series of seemingly AI generated videos showing (of all things) young women hitting and beating-up British policemen......how bizarre.
