This letter serves to acknowledge Michelin North America, Inc.'s notification to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
(NHTSA) of a safety recall which will be conducted pursuant to Federal law for the product(s) listed below. Please review the

Problem Description:
Michelin North America, Inc. (Michelin) is recalling certain Pilot Sport 4 ZP tires, size 255/35ZR19 96Y XL with DOT codes 0521 through 2121.
The DOT certification symbol is missing from the tire sidewalls. As such, these tires fail to comply with the
requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 139, "New Pneumatic Radial Tires for Light Vehicles."

Consequence: Tires that are missing a DOT symbol may be used in inappropriate applications, increasing the risk of a crash.


Remedy:
Dealers will replace the tires, free of charge. The manufacturer has not yet provided a schedule for recall notification.
