Apologies jdnathan but your post (not being a CCCUK member) linking and effectively advertising your Instagram pages contravenes our CCCUK rules and unfortunately is not acceptable on these forum pages.
You would (if a CCCUK member) of course be very welcome to publish information, photo's etc about your car here on these pages (and perhaps in Vette News) where I am sure many members (including myself) would be very interested to read them.

Cmon guys…this is why people leave memberships…including myself. Can’t be stuck in the past.
"this is why people leave memberships…including myself" -
You appear to be trying to elicit CCCUK members to visit your Instagram 'platform without even the decency/courtesy to ask our permission.
As an individual member (and with all members having recently paid their annual fees) I don't think I'd be too happy if the club actively allowed this kind of activity from a non/ex-member who clearly has no intention of re-joining and being part of our community.

This is the reason that motor clubs are losing members..you’ve gotta keep up with the times.

The amount of corvette owners I know in London and the surrounding areas that I’ve met who’ve said “I’d never become a car club member” is nearly 9 out of 10.

Car clubs need to change, you’re just going to be left behind.

It’s the reason I got in touch 5 years ago, about a web redesign.

Surprisingly perhaps on a personal level I don't actually disagree with your analysis of car clubs (and other forms of club/social activity/contact).
However the reasons for the demise in car and other types of club is far more complex and laregly down to the growth perhaps of the 'quick fix, dip in and out' on-line ease of electronic communication which is so endemic today.
Over the years physical and personal envolvement where an individual actually gets out of his or her chair at home and regularly travel to a venue to meet-up with similar minded people has been replaced for many by 'on-line' activity.
Firstly by Facebook (which 'today' now seems to be considered by many as old fashioned and for the 'oldies'). Other 'platforms' like Instagram, TicTok and others over the last few years have largely been taken up by younger generations of users.
One only has to look at peoples shopping habits to see where things are all going. Summing-up.......car clubs are largely populated by older generations of users. With younger enthusiasts perhaps unable to afford to buy older and more interesting classic cars will this change? -
Perhaps very unlikely given that in future years the costs and practicability of car ownership for younger people will become more difficult. There are other demographics in play too.......

The club cannot continue to provide members 6 high quality Vette News magazines, host events like the Corvette Nationals, NEC, Corvettes at the Lakes and many more without an income stream/membership fee which in my opinion is very good value. Tents, flags, charity donations, supporting vendors etc.. the list goes on. Almost all of the membership fee just covers Vette News and the associated postage.

If you have such a negative opinion of car clubs in general and CCCUK in particular , why are you foisting your own personal agenda on the clubs forum ? Sheer hypocracy !!

I want to clarify that I hold no negative opinions about car clubs. My intention is to be genuinely helpful to fellow members and to contribute positively to our community. However, I believe that, considering the average age of car club members in the UK is around 55 years old, there is significant room for greater inclusivity.

Sharing on social media should not be viewed as "free loading." In fact, the engagement and interest I've received from my Corvette Instagram account in just the past week has far surpassed what I've experienced in over three years as a member of the Corvette forum. This demonstrates that there are many people, myself included, who are seeking a more inclusive and interactive environment.

I personally know 14 Corvette owners who are not members of the Corvette forum. This isn’t about undermining the club; it’s simply a reality that some people prefer not to join formal car clubs. Before owning a Corvette, I wasn’t even aware that this was common, but it is, especially among younger owners who have the resources and enthusiasm to contribute meaningfully.

If more and more people are choosing not to join, especially younger enthusiasts with money to spend, it’s worth asking why. By embracing social media and fostering a more inclusive environment, we can ensure the club remain relevant for years to come...

Comments that focus on rule enforcement over community building are a key reason why some people, especially younger or newer enthusiasts, choose not to join or participate in clubs.

I never said anything about not having a membership fee, no idea where that came from.

I've attended several Corvette car club meets and have noticed that the majority of attendees tend to be in the 55+ age group, which can bring a wealth of experience to the group. However, these gatherings are often held in traditional venues like Holiday Inns, which may not appeal to everyone. Welcoming younger enthusiasts and diversifying the types of venues or activities will really help the club grow and ensure it remains vibrant and relevant for years to come. I know several locations that would love to welcome a corvette club meet...and locations that would actually be helpful to the drivers too...

Online sharing welcomes new voices and perspectives, especially from younger generations. So rather than banning it, why not embrace it!?
