GM has appointed Clive Sutton as the Corvette retailer for London.

Customers will soon be able to explore the full UK Corvette range at a dedicated showroom, opening this summer, at a new Clive Sutton dealership at Staples Corner in north-west London.
Clive Sutton, Founder: “We’re proud to bring Corvette to London and to offer customers an ownership experience backed by full warranty, finance, and after sales care.

“Our focus is on ensuring customers can enjoy every aspect of Corvette ownership with confidence, supported by trusted, personalised service.
“We’re excited to introduce this iconic nameplate to long-standing clients and to those discovering Corvette for the first time.”

Customers can already order new models using the new Clive Sutton Corvette configurator at CliveSuttonCorvette.co.uk. Selected models are available now, with factory order deliveries available from October.
Corvette will sit alongside Sutton’s GM Specialty Vehicles (GMSV) range of luxury SUVs and trucks from Cadillac and Chevrolet.

Jean-Pierre Diernaz, MD and CMO General Motors Europe: “London is one of the world’s great cities for performance cars and car culture, so it feels like a natural place for Corvette to grow its presence in the UK.
“With Clive Sutton, more customers will have the chance to discover what makes Corvette so special – bold design, everyday usability and impressive performance.”

Clive Sutton offers specialist Corvette finance options, accessories, and state-of-the-art aftersales facilities with servicing and parts supply for all generations of Corvette.
By developing a dedicated Corvette configurator, the Sutton team has enabled customers to specify a full UK-spec vehicle online. All models benefit from full warranty cover and aftersales support.

The supercar line-up is led by the mid-engine Corvette Stingray (from £97,570).
Customers can also choose the all-wheel drive Corvette E-Ray hybrid (from £156,430) and 646 hp Corvette Z06 (from £182,730).
General Motors appointed Clive Sutton to lead the retail expansion of GM Specialty Vehicles in the UK earlier this year. This was the first time these vehicles had an official UK distributor.

General Motors has signed off on the project, giving UK buyers a proper home base to explore the full Corvette lineup. As Clive Sutton himself puts it, “We’re proud to bring Corvette to London and to offer customers an ownership experience backed by full warranty, finance, and after sales care.” His team aims to deliver a personalized, confidence building buying process whether you’re a longtime Sutton client or discovering Corvette for the first time.

Customers can already spec out their cars using the new online configurator at CliveSuttonCorvette.co.uk, with select models available immediately and factory order deliveries beginning in October. Corvette will join Sutton’s growing GM Specialty Vehicles portfolio, which already includes Cadillac and Chevrolet SUVs and trucks.

Looks fantastic in the yellow! Especially when a yellow C8 GT3 racer won its class at Le Mans last week (10th class win for the Vettes?). Beating the Ferraris, Mercs, Porsches, BMWs and McLarens etc. Congrats to Clive Sutton for having a Configurator on its website, so you spec/price up your "Dream" C8:

Saw a silver/grey one on the M3 a few days ago. Infact I probably see more C8s than any other Vette, probably because they get used on the motorway more frequently. Friday I saw four vettes, the C8 was one, two C3s and a C4.
They do say you can buy any thing in the world if you can afford it in London, stands to reason you should be able to buy a Corvette.

It was an interesting marketing 'mindset' of GM to initially target wealthier areas away from London for C8 Corvette dealerships and perhaps take a longer term view on the lack of previous GM sales in the UK. There are certain 'enclaves' scattered around the country where net disposable income is far greater than the traditional 'monied' London and Home County locations. Perhaps the sole Ian Allen franchise provided a worthy example of how potential C8 customers might be unwilling to both source a new vehicle (and perhaps more importantly longer term) even less willing to drive hundreds of miles (or trailer) their cars to London locations.
