Holding the committee to account at the AGM

If you are a club member I urge you to read my thread in (and only visible in) the 'Members' section titled " Inappropriate use of GM funds". If you cannot get into this part of the club website and are a paid up member - send an email to membership@corvetteclub.org.uk with your membership number, forum username and real name. Your status will then be changed so that you can get in and read all the posts.
It's become a long read but it tries to expose the background of why $10k of GM money went through the club account for the benefit of one member. Feel free to add your comments/ opinions.

Unfortunately your start up thread re this matter seems to have been locked up, so nobody except the privileged few can now post anything on this matter.
Why should your thread have been locked? Certainly makes one wonder.
Not everyone can attend the AGM so I do hope that this matter is fully explained somewhere along the line.

I locked the thread and no-one else will be posting and if they do their post will be deleted.

This was at the request of the Club Chairman and I'm not sure what you are having difficulty with. He has said that the matter will be discussed at the AGM. As is normal, any discussion will be in the minutes which will be posted on the website. Hopefully, in due course, this will provide the explanation for which you crave.
