Here’s some Pictures of my recent Restoration on the leather seats of my C4. Obviously I didn’t do these my self and let the professionals work their magic wand.
I took them to a leather conolising company just off the m6 In Knutsford to a man called Steve Merit, very impressive work. As you can see in the before pictures showing Heavy wear , very Discoloured, cracked and not matching.
Turns out they had been painted twice over the years with a plasticised shinny lacquer. Light grey then darker grey over the top. Steve restored them close as he could to their original state. After removing both layers with solvent.
After watching a few YouTube videos I had a go at removing the seat cushions my self, they clipped out pretty nicely: Getting them back in was the harder Out the two! As my The ends of my fingers nearly fell off with the cold weather outside
