I can confirm that there are no 1972 yellow corvettes with that reg number (or without a number entered) in the club at this time.

A yellow '72 big block (T Roof or Vert?) isn't the find of car that dosen't get noticed. Existing members reading this thread may have seen the car around or head of it. Any clues as to where the guy you sold it to was located?
MOT history goes back nearly 20 years with minimal mileage inbetween.
The last change to the vehicle registration document was in January this year.......could that be a change of owner or new address for current owner?

I also owned LYX330K ~ I bought it around 1974 from the 'Chequered Flag', a specialist sports car dealer in Chiswick High Road, west London

The first owner / importer was Les Leston, the British racing driver.

After doing a deal for the car the salesman advised me that the magazine 'Motor Sport' had previously arranged to borrow the car for the weekend to do a feature & road test that indeed was published soon after. When I picked up the car the following week the original steering wheel had been broken so a replacement had to be found and fitted before I could drive it away.

However I drove, like a clergyman or a hooligan, I remember around 8MPG was returned.

I didn't keep it for very long, perhaps 18 months, and advertised it for sale in 'Exchange & Mart' A potential purchaser contacted me to arrange a viewing and we agreed to meet at the local underground station. Much to my surprise a striking tall blonde lady exited the station and within fifteen minutes the money changed hands and she drove off to the North Circular Road never to be seen or heard from again!
