Hi all, bern having a go at tackling my leaky rear seal and worn bush. Dropped front of prop and pulled the slip yoke only to find a lot of wear on the yoke shaft. Removed seal , tomorrow’s job is to make up a puller to extract the worn bush with tailshaft in situ. Gavin is on the case for a new slip yoke. Meanwhile an engineering friend is building up the shaft and turning it down to correct dimensions. This will do as a temporary fix until the new yoke arrives. I will then renew the bush and seal again. Shouldnt be too bad once the puller is made . Anyone here had success extracting that bush with trans in situ and any hints or tips
