Quick YouTube video of Ben Collins driving my C6.

When we spoke on the phone one of the 1st questions he asked was does it have magride? He definitely doesn't like it and said it's not a good system

Not 'sticking-up' for C6's and mag ride suspension......but why specifically doesn't he like it? - yes, for racing I can understand perhaps wanting the consistency/predicability on non-self adjusting dampers.....but for the average driver wouldn't mag ride be ideal?
But, don't listen to me - us C3 owners have enough of our own suspension/damping issues!

That was my thought too - average driver would probably like mag ride, but understand in racing / getting the absolute most out of a car then maybe they wouldn't want it.

On the latest Mustangs, their MagneRide option gives you/includes "Pothole Mitigation" Quote:

"Active Pothole Mitigation

The system detects and protects against jarring impact and costly repairs. The technology monitors body, steering and braking inputs to detect a pothole and catch the wheel before it drops"

Does it work like that on a C6 with MagRide? Presumably not, as they would have told us that?

I’d assume that is based on the same information at the lane control etc. Without that ability to scan ahead it could only react which would be all a bit late.

The system would be working overtime in Northamptonshire and be worn out within 12 months !! ā˜¹ļø
