New master cylinder

Hi
Has anyone in the UK ever primes a new master cylinder before fitting it to the car?
The master cylinder I had didn’t come with blanks for sealing off wher the Brake lines go
I can find them in the states but that comes with the ridiculous postal charges and a long wait. I was wondering if anyone in the UK I’d have done this and used something different and if so what was it? Any help appreciated?

There are a pair of port plugs here available in the UK that have the correct threads so should fit the Corvette cylinder. Not too expensive but also a ridiculous postage charge.
I bled my cylinder when replacing all the brake lines so cut up my old lines to make bleed tubes. See here. Unless you're doing the same you won't have that option.
