New SMOG Testing for the UK ?

From what I understand it’s for new cars only. So nothing exciting.

Regulations for classics/older cars are pretty relaxed, especially imports. Tax and insurance on a C6 is approximately half that of a 370z which was U.K. registered from factory. My Japanese imported car is tested as pre-cat even though it has them as because its import, a UK car of the same year would have to comply with the post cat regs.

I'd be more than happy for the emissions people in the UK to apply all that emissions testing equipment to the pipes on the back of my car. They'll be able to certify my C3 as a green / zero emissions vehicle.

(sidepipes are the real exhausts - the ones at the back are fake/cosmetic only)
