Can see that I am gonna enjoy watching this thread Steve. In Feb 2020 Vette News, it mentions that there were only two '85s in the club. Owned my '85 from 1989 to 2018 (29 years). Never let me down, and in all that time, apart from consumable items, only needed a new heater matrix, starter motor and fuel pump.

I aim to please I bought it for next to nothing so don’t mind spending a few quid on it
Think I will need to aswell it’s on 198000 so have a year out of it then maybe engine rebuild with few mods on performance

If its got yellow Bilstein shocks, an oil cooler and 2 turns lock to lock etc it's got the got the Z51 performance pack option.

Taken off my car several years ago at about 40k miles, so in good condition. Same as that on an '84. Would probably fit on a 86-89 also but, as I remember it, the wheel is slightly smaller from '86 on. "Free" to "paid up" CCCUK member, otherwise £50. View/collect Surrey, or buyer arranges...

Keith Beschi at Eurovettes is the C4 guy. Ex-committee member and knows all about C4's and many other generations. I have used Keith for many items since I brought my C4 back to the UK from the US and Belgium in 1998. He advertises in the club magazine if you need his contact details.

Quick update repaired most of the wiring eaten but the mouse dash mainly back in just need to find some lamp holders and replace the front marker lights
So I should have it ready for the road just in time to put it away for winter
