Paint Code ?

Having the front end of my ‘97 C5 painted. I know it’s Torch Red but my guy has asked me for a paint code ? Any ideas please. Thank you

Just found this thread but obviously way too late to help Ruby 2, although the question has been answered thoroughly. That said my experience may help a Torch Red C5 owner at some stage in the future.
I needed a spray can to match my '02 Torch Red and went to Halfords, as previously recommended on here. All they needed was the OE code and payment with order. Only a few days to wait and the can was ready, the colour match was as perfect as you could get from anyone. I also got some discount using my trade card, again as previously recommended on here.

Sorry to revive this very old thread.
Could someone please help me confirm my paint code on my 2001 C5 please?

I assume the code is '8554' which from what I can find out, the OEM code is '40' and is simply known as 'WHITE' ?????

Or am I reading it incorrectly?
I am in need of an aerosol and want the correct information obviously

Here is the paint chips and color codes for 2001 C5
This vendor sells these as small bottles with a brush, spray cans, pens, and also from quarts to gallons
They mix these when placing orders

Also think if needing GM primer and clear coat, vendor also sells
