Quickjack 5000TL

Does anyone use a Quickjack 5000TL with their C5?
Do you need to use 'pucks' in the jacking points as for a normal jack or vehicle 4 point lift? I'm concerned on the minimum ground clearance required, as I only have the minimum 3 1/2 " with pucks installed and the minimum specification of 3 1/2 " states it requires 'a bit of room between the rubber block and the lifting point'. Do the 'rubber blocks' of the Quickjack negate having to use 'pucks'?

The only purpose of those pucks is to protect the rocker panels from getting pinched by the head of the jack
If that head is not close to rail than all would be fine

My 1999 C5 has been lowered as far as possible so cannot use pucks unless
Best case is having some ramps like these to drive on to and increase free height space
