What a stunning C3 and set to bring some serious coin. Currently at $135k with just over 8 hours to the bell

Wish mine had the ZR1 option

Bring A Trailer has become the place to sell everything from a project to the most expensive of cars. The interaction with the sellers is unlike any other sales platforms.

To be honest I much prefer your Corvette to the ZR1. If I ever wanted an investment grade car then maybe the ZR1 would be better (and it is a thing of great beauty) but I would be worried every time I took a rare edition $200K car out on the road - I would never really enjoy taking it out. Your car looks just as good and you can drive it too.

Stewart - are there significant differences with the ZR1 option on a LT1 (other than as mentioned in BaT's information) that differentiate the car if compared with an 'off the shelf' LT1 (and not available as individual options)?

There are many common parts shared by the LT-1 ZR1 & LT-1 – forged pistons, pink rods, 4 bolt main, solid lifters, transistor ignition, Winters intake, 4bbl Holley but the power output was the same at 370hp. A whole list of RPO’s not available on the ZR1 like power windows, radio, air conditioning, rear defroster, alarm all for weight saving making the ZR1 a true racer. None of them could have an auto trans as only manual available and an M22 heavy duty for the ZR1 an M21 for the LT-1. Aluminium radiator for the ZR1, copper for the LT-1 and my radiator is now wall art as it was changed out before my ownership. Upgraded suspension and brakes included on the ZR1.

Mine is a 1971 LT-1 by which time the HP rating had reduced to 330hp

The look is the same apart from no radio for the ZR1 so no shielding required and the fan shroud is steel but plastic on mine

Just noticed there is no reserve on the ZR1 so it's going to a new owner today

The market for rare, limited production corvettes, is certainly the USA. They absolutely love their home grown sports car.

I bought my LT-1 out of a vast collection in New York and received gobs of abuse from people on the Corvette Forum claiming cars like the LT-1 should never be sold to an overseas buyer. I gave back as good as I got mentioning all the E Types, Astons etc that now reside Stateside
