Sadly reminds me of some years back when I was rep for the Essex region. Had a phone call from the Essex Chronicle newspaper.......did I know of a gentleman living in Chelmsford who owned a C4 Corvette Vert........(No I didn't - nor did anyone else within the region - not a member) - sadly this guy had a serious 'head-on', seemingly at speed with another car......seems that dashboard and perhaps screen surround trapped the poor fellow in the car.......which caught fire........he died........the car was totally burnt-out and virtually unrecognisable as a Corvette.........not nice
