A couple of nice motors at a local car meet in Danville California. The Corvette is a ‘60 convertible all original and with the current owner for the last 25 years. The Cadillac is a rare ‘57 Eldorado Brougham with a stainless steel roof. Has been restored in the last 5 years and even has the drop down drinks tray with 6 magnetic tumblers and a flask. The owner also has the matching ‘58 model. Only 400 were built in 57 and 308 in ‘58.25B429AB-23DA-435C-BBE1-82943C3D9E36.jpeg

Too true, the red Italian things together with assorted MacLarens and Lamborghinis are dead common round here. At the annual car show they have a whole block on both sides of the street for the red things.

I’ve got nothing against the “modern” supercars at shows, after all they are car shows. Like it or not Ferrari and the like are very popular cars be it for bragging rights or genuine wants. Variety is the spice of life after all.

@Nassau65 nothing wrong with people displaying their modern car but they have nothing on the classics.
Todays modern car is tomorrows classic. When I was your age, a C3 corvette was an everyday car, and a 65 mustang was a old banger, now they are classed as a classic cars.
