Servicing and diagnostics

Hello all, new member here. I'm importing my Hennessey ZL1 Camaro (C6 LS7 block) from Saudi Arabia to the British Isles and I'm interested in finding a recommended servicing and repair company.
My car has a bad habit of occasionally going into 'limp' mode and I would like it sorted out.
I'm based on the Isle of man so NW England is most convenient for me but anywhere in the UK is OK if necessary.
Car tax included! This was shot across the bridge at a service company in Bahrain.
Thanks for any advice!

Doubt there's anyone on the island to do this. Some stuff can be DIY'ed , I suppose, like oil changes , brakes and whatnot. As regards a proper expert setup , I think you'd not go far wrong with Parts U.S.A. , in Bredbury , near Stockport, they're authorised GM techs, likely the only one in the country , and not too much of a bind as regards distance. Once the Steam-Packet have had their slice of ya ! Be warned, though , being the best , they're terribly booked up , so give 'em lots of notice. Not cheap , but what is these days? Only me ! Gotta love those late-model Camaros , out of the recent crop of musclecar re-pops, they are far and away the most faithful inmterpretation. And a ZL -1..........Hell-fire !! Hope you enjoy having it on the island, I bet the gas prices there are even more whacko than usual these days, I used to cringe when fuelling my boat at the Shell in Port Erin , but that was 15 years ago now. That particular fibreglass money pit got replaced with a 'Vette. Not at all a fibreglass money pit ! I'm now on my second one from then. That's how they get ya........

Thanks for the update!
I'll try the Parts USA guys as recommended.
Yeah, I really like the new crop of muscle cars. I rented a few in the States before I made my choice - I liked the Challenger but the handling wasn't so great. It rolled like a boat!
Settled on the Camaro instead. I'm looking forward to giving it a workout on some of the islands roads eventually - out of town they are unrestricted speed limits for cars so can air out the twin turbos!

The PCM and EBTCM controllers is designed to protect the car from going bonkers due to having drive by wire
If it reads from the feedback sensors either / and / or

1. Wheel speed sensors not all reporting the same MPH speeds
2. The reporting angle of the gas pedal (APP) and angle of the butterfly of the throttlebody
3. The MAF reporting airflow does not match the values of #2 above
4. the reported angle of the steering wheel to what the wheel speed sensors report

I suggest you have your repair people focus on those first as to the problem
and that includes wiring for all of the above

Many thanks for this! Would a OBD2 scanner pick up the fault from the OBD module?
My car can be running fine and then switch off for a few minutes then switch back on and it is in 'limp mode'. Hennessey do say in their hand-off package to let the car idle for 5 minutes before driving from cold and that seemed to alleviate some of the problem but it can surface while driving or after a short switch off.

Sounds like a crap tune by Hennessey, but that is common with them :-(

If you only have a DTC (code) reader, depending on if its worth a damn and supports all GM enhanced DTCs you might see
what all DTCs for the whole car might have

A full OBD2 scanner does DTC reading but also allows recording and analyze what all the sensors are reporting
As example could monitor all 4 wheel speed sensors and see if they report the same speed or not

Or monitoring/ recording the engine sensors and when PCM goes into limp mode it should trip a "freeze frame"
which would tell you exactly how engine was running at the time limp mode was tripped

Did the change the Fbody PCM to a C6 Z06 PCM or not ?
Did they lock the PCM so others could not retune the PCM to correct any problems with these mods ?
