Colin was a club when we meet at Sratchwood services back in the good old days :ROFLMAO:
Was wondering if you were Colin "Shepherd" (?) Funchi? ;) Where does the Shed & Buried come into it? Colin Shepherd of the CCCUK is in a 1999 episode of the BBCs/Quentin Wilson presented "The Cars the Star" featuring Corvettes. As is Keith Beschi and a couple of other members of the time. Find it on YouTube, a link to it won't display/play on here.

Strange how various regions had odd named meets and 'clubs'. South East Essex had the 'ERICS'.......mainly street drag racers with hot rods and yanks.....stood for Essex Racing Is Cool......

Hi Chevrolet, no I am not Colin Sheppard I wish I was with all those cars.

Colin was the CCCUK secretary if it was called that all those years ago, Keith Betchi was the Chairman and Sandra did the club magazine, Sratchwood services was the only UK meet all those years ago.

Colin was a HGV mechanic back in the day and had a lovely C3 chrome bumper Corvette, which Colin eventually sold for a C2, a mistake in my opinion.

Colin was the only person I would trust to work on my then 1980 Corvette.

I have no idea now how to find them, but a few years ago I put lots of Corvette photos going back to Sratchwood services on the website, I am sure one of you whiz kids will be able to find them.

At 70 I am lucky if I can find my C5 keys.

Colin Shepard was a very active corvette club member in the 80s and 90’s. He had a lovely yellow 65 coupe from memory.

He's standing next to it in the YouTube video above (Reg# 1965 UR). Other members in the video are Keith B., Ed Titmus, Mike & Laura Henderson and Trevor Norwood.

feck me i dont even know the local MP or who ever the bloke or women is in charge of the country. MMmm are they important though ?
Kinda hoping on this very day of celebrating Guy Fawkes (and his gunpowder plot) that someone would have done the right thing and repeated it with a 21st century version.

Nassau65 you must be very young :) at Sratchwood Services Colin first had the blue chrome bumper C3 which was immaculate, I am sure I put a photo of it from the Sratchwood days on the website, we had a Russel who had an immaculate red C2 reg RMSXXX which is now on a Ferrari 365 GT4 2+2 which I bet is Russel’s, and if I am correct Russel had 2 C2 Corvettes in those days. PS Nassau65, no you would properly be let out of prison early.

PS again, yes Colin's C2 was yellow.

Sorry Chevrolet, I put it down to old age I missed your question and confused you all.
My reference to Shed and Buried Classic Cars, and I did not write Classic Cars was, the episode this week had Henry Cole and Fuzz Townsend buy a race prepared MGA from Colin and it shows a lot of Colin’s lovely cars.
