Some fiends have just moved from Miami FL to Atlanta GA some 750 miles north, but they are still “southerners”
His brother got relocated with work about three years ago from south FL to Pennsylvania. A novelty at first, cold, frost, snow, wearing winter clothes etc They came back after 1 year.

Everything north of Watford Gap is Ooop North . I would move to North Wales , Cumbria or North Yorks Moors in a heart beat to escape all the development going on in my area of Northamptonshire.
