Spitfire Fuel Diamond

Over the years we've seen various 'products' advertised in the back pages of car magazines - typically in this case as small metal balls suspended in the fuel tank as lead replacement for unleaded fuel, octane boosters and so on. If I had a C8 myself the very last thing I'd put in the fuel if the 21st century equivalent to 18th century quack doctors potion.
Apologies for being sceptical......but over the years life has taught me just that......scepticism is no bad thing.

It was being sold at a car show. I didn't buy as was skeptical. After doing a little more googling, am even more skeptical. 😳 I hadn't come across it before, and was curious to know whether anyone else had... However, I think my curiosity is assuaged! 🤣

Not a complete waste of time? You are probably the first person to use the word "assuaged" on here? :ROFLMAO:
