Simples, morning and eveningThe green one ! the green one ! Go for it and enjoy .![]()
Although advancing years press upon me with ever increasing severity, I am hoping for one or two more sunny fresh air days before the grim reaper makes his appearance and the ‘Vette passes to my daughter in my will. She has no interest in the car (she’s a planet saver for a start) and will be desperately wondering how to dispose of it without getting ripped off. Accordingly, I shall leave her a note telling her to contact you via this forum as you have already offered to buy the car for £75k. Tearful but overjoyed at this lifeline she will contact you expecting you to honour your non-existent promise. Too embarrassed to disabuse the poor girl in her moment of grief and mourning you will cough up this inordinate sum for a very indifferent ‘Vert and doubtless enjoy (and rue) your purchase for many more years. You have been warned…….I hate "Show Offs"!Who are you leaving the green one to in your will (son/daughter/favourite nephew?). If they don't exist, maybe you should sell me the green one now?

Is the daugter married? If not, does she like older, follically challenged men? That could save me £75k? Apparantly all the surveys prove that the ladies like a bald man?Although advancing years press upon me with ever increasing severity, I am hoping for one or two more sunny fresh air days before the grim reaper makes his appearance and the ‘Vette passes to my daughter in my will. Tough luck - she is married to a high level IT specialist toy boy. He's a nice guy but so far divorced from practical reality I sometimes wonder if he isn't an AI construct. He is though an incipient baldie so you lose out there as well. You're just going to have to cough up and look big.....Is the daugter married? If not, does she like older, follically challenged men? Women are more attracted to BALD men, study reveals
A new study has revealed that bald men are actually seen as more attractive than hairy blokes.www.dailymail.co.uk
Plenty of C8 v latest Mustang comparisons on YouTube. No great difference in power? On a new Stang UK video I was looking at the other day, they were saying that on the base (non Recaro) seats, the central inserts are "Vinyl". Not sure I'd pay £55k (ish) up for a car with Vinyl seats? Then again, £55k doesn't buy you so much new car these days?I've not driven a C8 but it would be interesting to compare the characteristics of a modern pushrod V8 with that of the DOHC 'Stang. The larger 'Vette motor has a lot more power but I wonder if the torque delivery difference is still significant?
Must admit, being in that "zone," I had to check the difference between "incipient" and "imminent". I'm concluding that he is "balding"?He is though an incipient baldie
Modern multi-valve computer controlled cars, whether shopping cars or performance vehicles have their torque characteristics 'stretched' over a far wider rpm band than earlier 2 valve non ECU engines that would 'channel' their power output through a relatively short rpm range.........and giving that perky performance that we all like.Certainly the driving experience of the two cars is totally different. Not surprising with 45 years of automotive development between them. Although the 'Stang is auto and the 'Vette manual the main divergence derives from the engine configurations. The performance of the classic GM pushrod 5.7L V8 contrasts vividly with the modern DOHC 5.0L Ford V8. Of course the 400+ HP ultimately makes the Ford faster than the 270 odd HP in the 'Vette but the main difference is in the torque delivery. I haven't compared the torque and power curves of the two motors but in the 'Vette torque always gives a big push in the back when the loud pedal is pressed at almost any speed. This is much less linear in the Ford, it never feels as immediately responsive and there's always there's the slight feeling of waiting for the revs to rise before you get the shove. I'm sure this difference is primarily subjective since I'd be very surprised if the 'Stang didn't out drag the 'Vette from 0 to 60. It does mean though that like CaptainK I'll choose the 'Vette for fun but the 'Stang for touring.

I wouldn't say he's bald, but you have to look for it.....Must admit, being in that "zone," I had to check the difference between "incipient" and "imminent". I'm concluding that he is "balding"?
