SWP's sensor

Hello All,. I am getting a fault code on my 2002 C5 convertible which is linking to the steering wheel position sensor. (C1287) I can get a new sensor from Rock autos however it isn't a job that I feel confident tackling. Has anybody used any of the well known Corvette specialists to have this work done? I live in Sussex but don't mind travelling to get this done. As I am getting the code nearly every time I use the car now .

I just replaced mine 2 weeks ago. It's not particularly difficult, but best with 2 folk to replace the column. i'd reckon having done it now, I could do the job in 2 hours quite easily, so a Corvette specialist should hopefully do it in less.
