Hi all
i am looking for a relay for my 1976 coupe but I want the electronic type as there seems to be a weird mix of led and normal bulbs on the car,and I have read that the electronic relays can handle a mix of either, I just want to get the dam things working so I am embarking on a process of one step at a time, however I will need a three spade connector type and was hoping you guys could suggest some people to contact
thanks nige

Interesting that Classsic Car Leds offer a dual filament LED amber and white bulb that will be of interest to those of us ('68/'69) Vettes with combined white/clear front indicator lamps.
Many years ago I simply replaced the stock clear lenses with early Land Rover/Moggie Minor (and others) amber lenses. Yes they 'flashed' amber and therefore UK legal - but were now also an amber sidelight (not legal) as such..........however.......
The white front sidemarker lamps (certainly on '68s and '69's are kinda visible from a frontal aspect.......so I'm effectively showing a white light to the front (complying with legal requirements) and additionally showing an amber light to the front too. It isn't illegal, perhaps classed as an auxillary driving light. I've never been 'pulled' and never historically an issue with MOT's.
The dual filament LED bulb that Classic Car Leds offer is the logical answer and something I'll get around to changing at some point.
1968 rear lights are the only C3 year with 4 no. dual filament stop/tail lights. Back-up lights are in the rear valances beneath the bumpers.
'69 and onwards C3's are fortunate to have a one pair of dual red/clear lenses that provide back-up lights.......obviously many C3's will have a pair of these 'given-over' now as indicator lamps using amber lenses. The 'real trick' will be to see if these dual filament amber/clear led bulbs are usable for both back-up and indicators.

I didn't use the ones from Classsic Car Leds, but I have got amber and white switchback LEDs in my rear lights and they work very well, although I've used ballast resistors with the indicators so that they work with the standard flasher unit.

Classiccarleds have been my go-to suppliers for my '72 LED lighting (and more recently for the 92 C4 H4 headlight bulbs). For the '72 I have used the 2 pin (with flying earth lead) indicator relay...

...and it has worked very well.
