Time to down size my collection

Being a long standing member of the club I have been able to collect 7 Corvettes, and all of my cars are in pristine condition, and maintained.
It is now time to start downsizing the collection and I am putting the first Corvette that I bought at a Corvette Nationals over 20 years ago up for sale.
The C3 1974 already had a good pedigree before I bought the car, and is a numbers matching car with 3 speed auto and has 55000 miles recorded and since my ownership has had a full body and mechanical refurb with less than 5000 miles since.
Original colour of Mille milia red with very rare silver leather interior.
With 17 inch triple chrome Corvette wheels and a full hooker header side pipe exhaust system.
The car also still has the original rally wheels and tyres and chrome bikini rims not fitted.

Beautiful car Mike.

I just got my 78 Pace Car, I notice in your engine bay pic the brake drum/cylinder and rest of the car all looks black and fresh, may I ask what paint you used please to freshen it all up and do you have any more engine bay pictures as I want to get the engine bay in mine looking fresher with a new coat of paint and maybe some chrome bits.

When the engine was rebuilt it was removed and I then actually got inside cleaned and repainted the engine bay.
This was a few years ago but it still has the look.

Can you remember what you used for painting it with please Mike, did you also spray paint or just brush it on, am guessing spray as finish looks A1.

I have not been very active at trying to part with my 74 C3 but seeing how the auctions and car scene is becoming very positive I will now be more proactive and auctions once the COVID restrictions are remove will be my way forward.
My garage is now uncomfortable full of Corvettes.
