Torque thrust 2 wheels

Hi All .I am in process of ordering set of American Racing,Torque Thrust 2 wheels for my 57 corvette.Wondering if anyone could advise best size plus tyre size ( Whitewall) radials for this standard c1 with no power steering/ brakes etc.To be honest with the cross ply snow fitted it handles crap ,steering box could do with overhaul as well as loads of loose play on wheel .Would appreciate any advice whilst I am on here I am also looking for door card in red ( waffle pattern ) for drivers door .the card on mine has partly disintegrated.I have contacted corvette central in usa ,who can supply a pair @ $1400 but won’t advise about shipping untill after payment made ,which I thought was a bit strange

Hi I use 215/50/R17 tyres all round on mine. They fill the wheel arch pretty well and there is plenty of tyre choice.
