Been fitting new headlamp relay which meant removing front no plate / bracket assembly and centre egg crate grill.
While I was in there I decided to have a go at spacing the centre grill forward in line with the other two grills. To achieve the full effect will require relocating front plate as it would hide the newly revealed grill. Have seen a few posts on this mod online and think it inproves the front look of the vette. Only drillin required was 2 , 3mm holes into the top of the painted nose cone panel to locate two simple L brackets to mount the plate. I have bent these slightly past 90 degrees to give the plate a very slight rake back to match the slope better. Will post finished pics later but a couple showing the threaded rod extensions.
Enjoyinh this one 👍IMG_1583.jpegIMG_1582.jpeg

Cant get far enough away from the car to get a decent pic. Only an hour to return to stock if I decide against it. Will run with it for a couple of weeks to see what I think. It did seem strange not be able to see it tho. What do folk think ? 🤔 is it a 👍, a👎, or a 😵‍💫🫣😱🤯!! …🤣TiAIMG_1591.jpegIMG_1594.jpegIMG_1588.jpeg

Had to remove centre grill to replace h/lamp relay so re tweeked front plate, raised a smidge and angled it to match the front of the car a bit, quite liking the centre egg crate being more visible. .Finally sorted the erratic headlamps and wiper door issue i had multiple little leaks and gradually working through the with help from Gavin Roe at emc performance. Then a new symptom appeared where the lights opened but the would not close at all. Found a split Y connector between the front relays and headlamp signal small vacuum hose.
