but a few rarer Yanks such as a 1991/92 Chevy Caprice police car and a Chevy El Camino with a detachable flatbed hard top . The three Scorpion light tanks all arrived by road and must have been quite a sight on the public roads . They probably stopped at every petrol station en route !! Totally agree . It`s long standing club member Roger Thornton`s car . Looks and sounds fabulous .The 66 coupe looks nice, especially with the 67 stinger hood on. A nice touch re it being a 66 was to refit the hood badge
The 67 big block stinger hood really is a lovely design and looks great on any year mid year.

when we got back to the car park !

. All in all it is now looking very spiffy !A add from custom car.Takes me back to the days of Custom Car Magazine which was THE go to mag back in the day !
Heartbreaker rings a bell from the dim and distant past .Our neighbour/friend the late Barry Sturgess, a fantastic painter had G-Force the 1969 or 1970 428 cobra Jet mustang.
John Jemmett had a few, anybody remember his mustang “ heartbreaker” or his challenger “ the artful Dodger”
Many fond memories coming back now.
The other “famous” mustang was “French connection”Heartbreaker rings a bell from the dim and distant past .

The (in)famous "Thrush" sidepipes. Carriage on one pipe £1.00, on two £1.50. Those were the days!A add from custom car.
Nice selection of side pipes
I Always fitted the “outsiders” as they looked like factory 1969 corvette pipes.
