White letter tyres

Seems the USA based Coker company (who seem now to manufacture/supply most of the traditional types of tyre that 'we' might use) have just introduced a new range of large diameter, low profile Pro Trac Street Pro 111 white letter and red band tyres for 17" and upwards wheel sizes at the Sema show specifically for the ProMod community.
No prices or size details quoted so far.

FYI,

Coker Tire is not what they were many years ago
In 2018 Mr Coker retired, and the company was taken over by the Japan company who also took over in the past Bridgestone and Firestone

Then the quality went south as it did with Firestone and cost Ford billions $$ in lawsuits as the tires caused Explorer rollovers and deaths.
Due to that caused the feds here in the USA to mandate vehicles having tire pressure sensors

Quality control issues present ongoing challenges for many buyers.
Some owners struggle with tires that won't balance properly, requiring nearly 11oz of weight.
Others report receiving tires that are "not round",
while whitewall areas may "bubble" or delaminate even with limited mileage.

One documented case shows the extent of these problems: a customer needed 19 replacement tires in just 18 months, with Coker acknowledging manufacturing defects yet declining to cover mounting costs.

People buying Coker brand as really just relabeled of Japan brands

Some if the Japanese brands are quite good.........wonder which brands the respective Coker sub-brands use?
