Will these C8s be sold less than sticker ?

A bad crash on Interstate 65 in Southern Indiana.
It appears an 18-wheeler slammed into the rear of a Jack Cooper Auto Transport carrying a load of C8 Corvettes.

The cab of the truck ended up on the bottom position of the trailer, and we're not real sure what happened to that car, if there was one there.
The transporter appears to have eight Corvettes

Wouldn't have wanted to be one of the emergency services teams trying to recover driver out of that cab!

Terrible thing to happen.......and then you'll see big wheelers nose to tail all carrying multi-ton loads.......no matter what protection is there (steel girders/structure ) behind the cab supposedly protecting the driver......bottom line is that absolutely nothing will stop 40 or 50 tons of steel, timber, vegetables or other provisions in the trailer....... wiping-out the cab in a heavy impact.......yet the drivers still won't keep sensible distances!

Indeed we do see far too much tail gating by HGV drivers on our motorways . They are supposed to be `professional drivers` but are arguably the worst damned drivers on our roads . If they wanna drive in one long train of trucks , become a train driver !!!

Saw it today on the M25, artics ( semi’s) so close to each other, not even enough room to get a car in between them.
Accidents waiting to happen.

Plus they pull out without indicating to pass the trucks in front rather than ease off the gas to maintain there restricted max speed and then take the next two miles of carriageway to get past them ! Makes me fume !!

It used to be here in the USA that trucks could only use the left lane to pass and then back to the right lane.

Also, now with the crap going on here, used to be crap being shipped from mexico, at the USA border had to switch to
American truck drivers
Now they are allowed to drive right on through the border, and have those drivers many do not even have valid truck drivers licenses or insurance
driving all over the USA as if they owned it.
This means they do not follow USA law where long haul truck drivers cannot drive more than xx hours a day, thus crashes out due to being over tired

Had three of them doing that today. Took three lanes up, only the outside lane free, and the car a few cars up from me( and the rest) was afraid to overtake the outside truck. So, four lanes of vehicles doing 56 mph for miles.

This is why we need traffic cops like the good old days to patrol aour roads , not bloody useless pen pushing plods and paper chasers sitting on their arses in offices all day . But we have successive government failings to blame for that !!

Below is a summary of what Indiana State Highway Patrol have released so far.
Very sad event, but clearly the Red Volvo Truck was traveling at a high rate of speed that plowed in to the back of the car carrier.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (WDRB) -- Investigators with Indiana State Police have released the name of a man killed in a crash involving two semi tractor-trailers near Corydon, Indiana, on I-64 Thursday afternoon.

It happened just after 4 p.m. Thursday. That's when Harrison County authorities reported a serious crash in the eastbound lanes of I-64 near the 105-mile marker, according to a news release from Indiana State Police.

The preliminary investigation indicates a white 2013 Volvo semi-truck pulling a C8 Corvettes hauling trailer was merging into the eastbound lane of I-64 from the Corydon exit at the same time that a red 2014 Volvo semi-truck, pulling an empty box trailer, was approaching the same exit.

The red Volvo collided with the rear of the car hauler trailer hooked to the white Volvo as it was merging into the slow lane of the interstate. Both vehicles came to rest in the emergency lane on the side of the road.

The driver of the red Volvo, 64-year-old Clarence E. Mitchell, 64, of Dearborn Heights, Michigan, was critically injured and flown to University of Louisville Hospital where he died from his injuries.

The driver of the Corvette trailer was not injured.
The eastbound lanes of the interstate were closed for several hours while crews cleared the scene around 9:30 p.m.
The crash is still under investigation, but police don't believe alcohol or drugs were factors in the crash.
