Hello,
I have a 1974 Corvette Convertible we have imported and are getting ready for UK use.
it has the L82 engine with the standard Rochester carb. It starts, idles and runs fine but after about 5 miles it seems to go 'fluffy' then cuts out. After a couple of minutes it will start again but repeat the cut-out.
So can't travel very far ! we have rebuilt the carb (it did it before this), new coil etc etc. My mechanic thinks it is a fuel venting issue, with lack of air getting into the system (the fuel cap is the sealed non-vented type).
Anyone experienced similar issues ?
Thanks
