C6 side window regulator replacement

I have a 2005 C6 convertible which has a broken/collapsed offside window regulator Part number 25995142 .
The cable has rusted through.
I had the car from the Stratstone franchise in 2006.
I have checked with Parts USA at Stockport who told me that these units are discontinued by Corvette and are no longer available.
I then contacted Keith Besci of Eurovettes in the US who also confirmed that to be the case.
He said he has been looking for a unit for some time for another owner without success.
Are there any other members with Vettes of this model and vintage that have suffered with this problem?
Doesn’t sound good in the long term.

Yes that looks like the one (offside)
I had to replace the near side a couple of years ago but the part was available then.
It's not cheap but is the same price as before.
I note on the website connection it is listed 'out of stock' and 3 members are on the waiting list.

Appears to be a reliable source. Have you dealt with them before?
For 60 odd pounds its probably worth going for anyway it given the situation.

Can’t comment on the product or seller I’m afraid. Just found it as a listed option based on your description.

A reply to let you know that I ordered a repair kit from these guys on June 24.
They advised a delivery date of '...by July 8'.
The pack arrived on Jun 30, so very prompt.
It was good quality and partially assembled.
It is now fitted/repaired and working well.
As it was not a replacement unit the repair time was about 4 hours.
Remains to be seen as to longevity but no reason to doubt it for now.
May be worth letting other members waiting for replacement units know of this option.
